Start your day with a memorable boat trip on Lake Chamo, famous for its “crocodile market,” where you’ll spot large crocodiles, hippos, and abundant birdlife.
Continue to Konso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its ancient terraced hillsides, stone-walled villages, and rich cultural practices.
Next, visit Bana Village, home to the semi-nomadic Bana people known for their intricate hairstyles and body adornments.
Arrive in Turmi, the cultural heart of the Hamer tribe, known for their elaborate rituals, including the renowned bull-jumping ceremony.

After breakfast, travel to Omorate near Lake Turkana to visit the Dassanech people, also known as the “People of the Delta.” Their semi-nomadic lifestyle, traditional attire, and fascinating customs offer a deep insight into the cultural diversity of the Omo Valley.
Return to Turmi for lunch, then journey onward to Jinka, the gateway to the lower Omo Valley.
In the afternoon, visit the Ari people, the largest ethnic group in the region, renowned for their pottery, agriculture, and traditional crafts.
